Ulsan City's Sister City Khan Hoa Province Receives 5 Major Supports
Overaged Vehicles Reconditioned and Modernized
A fire truck that was active in Ulsan will be sent to Vietnam to take on disaster response duties again.
The Ulsan Fire Headquarters (Chief Lee Jae-sun) announced on the 15th that it will provide five fire trucks that have exceeded their service life free of charge to Khanh Hoa Province in Vietnam.
The purpose of the free transfer project is to practice humanitarian spirit by sending usable equipment to countries in need despite the vehicles having exceeded their service life, and to support the modernization of local disaster response systems.
This free transfer project is the first of its kind implemented by the Ulsan Fire Headquarters, with cooperation between the public and private sectors. The Ulsan Fire Headquarters provides the vehicles, Hyundai Mipo Dockyard handles transportation, and Sinjeong Development Special Vehicles is responsible for vehicle maintenance and technical support.
