Gwangju Seobu Fire Station Operates Year-Round Reward System for Reporting Emergency Exit Closures
Gwangju Seobu Fire Station announced on the 12th that it will operate the 'Illegal Fire Facility Reporting Reward System' year-round to ensure that citizens can evacuate quickly and safely in the event of various accidents, such as the closure of emergency exits.
The Illegal Fire Facility Reporting Reward System is a system established to eradicate illegal acts such as closing or blocking fire facilities like emergency exits, which serve as evacuation routes during fires.
The reporting targets include illegal acts such as closing or blocking fire facilities, and placing objects around evacuation facilities in stairways and corridors that obstruct evacuation in cultural and assembly facilities, sales facilities, transportation facilities, lodging facilities, entertainment facilities, complex buildings, and multi-use establishments.
Reports of violations related to the maintenance and management of fire facilities can be submitted by attaching supporting evidence and visiting the jurisdictional fire station or by mail, fax, or other methods.
