Yoon to Attend IPEF Summit on 16th This Month... Discuss Cooperation Plans
President Yoon Suk-yeol will attend the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) summit held in San Francisco, USA, on the 16th (local time).
The Presidential Office spokesperson announced on the morning of the 12th that President Yoon is scheduled to attend the IPEF summit held in San Francisco during the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meeting week.
The summit will be attended by 14 IPEF participating countries, including the United States, Japan, Australia, and Singapore.
The Presidential Office explained that President Yoon plans to review the progress of negotiations at the IPEF summit and discuss specific cooperation plans going forward.

The participating countries have been conducting the 7th official negotiations in San Francisco from the 5th until now. The negotiation areas consist of four pillars: trade, supply chains, clean economy, and fair economy. It is reported that they discussed points of agreement on remaining issues aiming for results within this year.
