Pamcell Achieves S Grade in Process Safety Management (PSM) Evaluation
On the 12th, Pharmicell Biochemical Division announced that it had achieved an upgraded S grade in the 2023 Process Safety Management (PSM) regular evaluation conducted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
PSM is a system in which the government comprehensively evaluates and manages the safety of workplaces handling hazardous equipment and materials to prevent major industrial accidents. The evaluation consists of four levels: P grade (Excellent), S grade (Good), M+ grade (Average), and M- grade (Poor).
Since receiving an M+ grade in 2019, Pharmicell Biochemical Division invited safety experts to improve its rating by conducting safety management activities at two manufacturing sites, including ▲inspection and improvement of safety management systems, ▲risk assessment, ▲reinforcement of safety personnel, and ▲complete revision of internal guidelines.
