The cultural arts sponsorship certification system is established under the 'Act on the Promotion of Cultural Arts Sponsorship (Cultural Arts Sponsorship Act)' to promote sponsorship activities in the cultural arts field or to select organizations and companies that perform exemplary sponsorship activities, thereby strengthening and supporting the sponsorship foundation in the domestic cultural arts sector. The certification qualification is maintained for three years.
Since its initial certification in 2015, Hyosung has passed the re-certification review for excellent cultural arts sponsorship organizations, which is conducted every three years, three times. Therefore, Hyosung is recognized as an excellent cultural arts sponsorship organization until 2026. Among the excellent cultural arts sponsorship organizations, only six companies, including Hyosung, have had their certification extended from the initial certification in 2015 through this year.
Hyosung Chairman Cho Hyun-jun has consistently stated, "Through continuous cultural arts sponsorship, I want to create a society where more citizens can experience cultural arts up close and share that inspiration together."
