On the same day, Nam posted on her SNS, "I only shared matters related to Jeon's fencing. Jeon never allowed his phone to be shown, and when I approached him while he was using his laptop, he would lower the screen and change the subject or say it was not to be seen for security reasons." She also wrote, "I am going through countless moments every day thinking about how hard it is and wanting to die. In this situation, I am the biggest victim. Others lost money, but I have lost both money and honor, have fights with my family, and cannot operate the fencing academy." She added, "Being investigated like a criminal as a suspect and not being able to go outside for two weeks?why am I the only one among the victims facing this reality? It is heartbreaking."
The police have imposed a travel ban on Nam. She appeared at the police station on the afternoon of the 6th as a suspect and was questioned for nearly 10 hours. She did not respond to reporters' questions such as "How did you explain the charges?" and "Do you still maintain your position as a victim?" It is known that during the police investigation, Nam denied the charge of being an accomplice in fraud and testified that she was completely unaware of Jeon's fraudulent activities.

Nam's lawyer stated, "Fifteen people who filed complaints against Jeon for fraud did not accuse Nam, but recently a professional couple who suffered fraud exceeding 1.1 billion won was the only ones to accuse her as an accomplice." He added, "While we fully understand the victim's feelings who believed that recovering damages would be impossible by dealing only with Jeon, who presumably hid the criminal proceeds, Nam was completely unaware of the fraudulent acts and was rather exploited by Jeon. She cannot be said to have done something she did not do."
