Omiseop, Gwangju Seo-gu Council Member, Receives Commendation from National Police Agency
Oh Miseop, a member of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Seo-gu Council, received a letter of appreciation from the Commissioner of the National Police Agency.
On the 7th, Oh announced that he was awarded the letter of appreciation from the Commissioner of the Gwangju Metropolitan Police Agency for his contributions to the development of police administration on the occasion of the 78th Police Day.
In September, Oh proposed the "Ordinance on Support for the Prevention of Human Rights Violations and Abuse of Persons with Disabilities" as the representative.
This established a cooperative system with the National Police Agency to prevent abuse of persons with disabilities.
Oh stated, “Going forward, I will strive to create a cooperative system with related organizations such as mandatory reporting agencies, investigative agencies, medical institutions, and support groups, and work to establish a safety net for socially vulnerable groups, including support for the prevention of abuse of persons with disabilities.”
