Seongdong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jeong Won-oh) will hold the 'Seongdong Future Job Experience & Whole Village Experiential Learning Festival' for the first time on the 11th at 1 PM around the Seongdong 4th Industrial Revolution Experience Center (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Center’).
Designated as an educational special zone, Seongdong-gu planned this future education festival to provide children with various experiential learning opportunities in celebration of the 8th anniversary of operating the Whole Village Experiential Learning Centers. At the festival, starting from 1 PM on the 11th of this month, children can experience popular programs and future technologies all in one place among the 109 Whole Village Experiential Learning Centers operated by the district.
At Jeongwanwon Children's Park near the Center, 16 Whole Village Experiential Learning booths will be operated, including 3D scanning experiences and creative art playground activities. At the Center, 23 booths will offer various future job experiences such as drone racing, autonomous driving, and AI piano performances.
Additionally, ‘Small Land,’ a small theme park with exciting rides like the Children’s Viking and Virtual Reality (VR) truck, will also be operated. Furthermore, special performances such as magic shows and bubble shows will be held, making it a diverse festival that the whole family can enjoy.
In particular, the festival will feature a congratulatory performance by ‘Titan the Robot,’ a 2.4-meter-tall giant robot. There will be a time for children to sing and dance together with ‘Titan,’ a global superstar touring worldwide, allowing not only children but also adults to enjoy the event together.
