Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, said, “Carbon neutrality may seem difficult and distant, but small practices in daily life can change the lives of myself and my family and create a foundation where our children can grow up in a safe environment.” He added, “Going forward, the district will actively implement carbon neutrality policies that help residents in their daily lives. We ask all residents to actively participate in practicing carbon neutrality in daily life by walking or cycling for short distances, reducing the use of disposable products, and making waste separation a habit.”
