Pukyong National University Graduate School of Technology Management and Korean Innovation Society Jointly Host Fall Academic Conference
The Graduate School of Technology Management at Pukyong National University will co-host the 2023 Fall Academic Conference of the Korean Innovation Society, organized by the Korean Innovation Society, over two days from the 10th to the 11th at the Engineering Buildings 1 and 2 on the Daeyeon Campus.
This academic conference is held under the theme "Entrepreneurship and the 4th Industrial Revolution: The Driving Force of Innovation and Change" to share and disseminate related research and information as the importance of entrepreneurship grows as a national survival strategy.
The opening ceremony of the conference will take place on the afternoon of the 10th at the multipurpose hall on the 3rd floor of Engineering Building 1, featuring the opening declaration by Park Jong-bok, President of the Korean Innovation Society, congratulatory remarks by Kim Young-bok, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Pukyong National University, and a welcome address by Lee Woon-sik, Dean of the Graduate School of Technology Management.
Following this, the Innovation Grand Prize and Policy Awards will be presented to public institutions and companies that have achieved outstanding innovation results, and a keynote lecture will be delivered by Professor Heo Eun-nyung of Seoul National University’s Department of Energy Systems Engineering, who served as the third president of the Korean Innovation Society.
In each academic session, 37 papers will be presented and discussed across 12 sessions focusing on science and technology, industry, public sector, and corporate innovation. The full schedule and detailed program of the conference can be found on the Korean Innovation Society’s website.
This academic conference is jointly hosted by seven institutions: the Korean Innovation Society, Pukyong National University Graduate School of Technology Management, Gyeongsang National University Entrepreneurship Research Institute, Kyung Hee University Department of AI Technology Management, Dong-A University Unification Education Leading University Project Group, Korea Institute for Industrial Economics and Trade, Busan Institute of Industrial Science and Innovation, and Busan Technopark.
