Bank of Korea Recruiting Companies for Currency Waste Recycling
The Bank of Korea announced on the 6th that it is recruiting companies to collect and recycle banknote waste generated during the currency sorting process free of charge.
The target companies are those that intend to receive currency waste free of charge for recycling. The Bank of Korea plans to select multiple companies expected to have high recycling performance based on the company profiles and recycling plans submitted by the companies.
The recruitment period is from the 6th of this month to the 8th of next month.

The selected companies will sign an agreement with the Bank of Korea's Issuance Department regarding the free supply of currency waste and will be able to receive currency waste free of charge from the Issuance Department and some regional headquarters of the Bank of Korea.
