On the 5th, at the Minori Course (par 72, 6,608 yards) of the Omitama Taiheiyo Golf Club in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan, Baek Seon-woo shot a 5-under-par 67 in the final round of the LPGA Tour Toto Japan Classic (prize money $2 million) to finish tied for 2nd place (21-under-par 267) alongside Shiho Kuwaki (Japan). When Baek finished the round, she was tied for the lead, but Mone Inami (Japan) took a one-shot lead with a birdie on the 17th hole (par 5). Inami secured the victory by shooting 3-under, winning by one stroke (22-under-par 266). She is the silver medalist from the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. Inami has accumulated 13 wins on the JLPGA Tour. This was her first victory in an LPGA Tour event, earning a winner's prize of $300,000 (approximately 390 million KRW). Shin Ji-ae shot a 7-under-par 65 to leap into a tie for 4th place (20-under-par 268). Lin Xiyu (China) tied for 4th, Nasa Hataoka (Japan) tied for 8th (18-under-par 270), and Shin Ji-eun tied for 15th (17-under-par 271). Jeon In-ji finished tied for 72nd (2-under-par 286).
