Choi Ho-kwon, the mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, shared joy once a month by volunteering to assist outdoor activities for the elderly at Seonyudo Park on the morning of the 4th, marking ‘Volunteer Day.’
This ‘Volunteer Day’ was attended by about 30 people, including Yeongdeungpo District Office executives, Shinwoohoe (Workplace Missionary Association), and a volunteer group of North Korean defectors.
Mayor Choi and the volunteers helped elderly residents of the day care center, who have limited outdoor activities, enjoy a park outing and checked on their well-being.
