The 20th Nightingale Oath Ceremony Held
208 second-year students from the Department of Nursing at Nambu University took their first step as prospective nurses.
Nambu University announced that it held the "20th Nightingale Oath Ceremony" on the afternoon of the 3rd.
The Nightingale Oath Ceremony is an event where nursing students recite the Nightingale Pledge along with a candle-passing ritual before going to hospital practicums, pledging to fulfill their duties and responsibilities as nurses.
At the event, alumni Park Joeun (currently working at Gwangsan-gu Public Health Center in Gwangju Metropolitan City) and Lee Jayeon (currently working at Asan Medical Center in Seoul) passed the candle to their juniors as Young Nightingales.
