KOSPI and KOSDAQ Start Higher... Foreigners and Institutions Are 'Selling'
The KOSPI and KOSDAQ started higher on the 3rd. However, both foreigners and institutions are showing a 'selling' trend simultaneously.
As of 9:07 AM, the KOSPI is trading at 2363.75, up 0.88% (20.63 points) from the previous day. The KOSPI opened at 2365.59, up 0.96% (22.47 points) from the previous day.
Unlike the previous day, both foreigners and institutions are showing a 'selling' trend from the early session. Foreigners and institutions sold a net 34.9 billion KRW and 5.5 billion KRW, respectively. Individual investors alone are net buyers of 81.1 billion KRW. In the futures market, foreigners are buying 200.9 billion KRW, while individuals and institutions are selling 111.4 billion KRW and 105.6 billion KRW, respectively.
Among the top 10 stocks by market capitalization, most are on the rise. Only SK Hynix (-0.08%) and Samsung Biologics (-0.14%) are down. POSCO Holdings (+3.63%), LG Chem (+2.96%), and LG Energy Solution (+2.30%) show notable gains.
As of 9:11 AM, the KOSDAQ is at 777.34, up 0.55% (4.50 points) from the previous day. The KOSDAQ opened at 779.28, up 0.83% (6.44 points) from the previous day. Similar to the KOSPI, foreigners and institutions are net sellers of 108 billion KRW and 33.8 billion KRW, respectively. Only individuals are net buyers of 147 billion KRW.

Among the top 10 stocks by market capitalization, only Celltrion Healthcare and Pearl Abyss are unchanged. HLB is the only stock down (-1.01%). Following the previous day, EcoPro BM is leading the market with a 3.46% rise, followed by EcoPro (+2.31%) and POSCO DX (+2.20%).
