Kibo Wins 'Minister of Education Award' at Fair Recruitment Best Practices Competition
Open Recruitment System Recognized for Operational Performance
The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 3rd that it received the Minister of Education Award in the public sector at the '2023 Fair Recruitment Best Practice Competition' in recognition of the operational achievements of its open recruitment system.
Hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and organized by the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, the Fair Recruitment Best Practice Competition selects and awards companies and institutions that have implemented various improvement efforts and achieved results to ensure fairness in the recruitment process, such as transparency, competency-based evaluation, and empathy for job seekers.

View original imageKibo introduced a competency-based recruitment system based on the National Competency Standards (NCS) in 2015 and has strengthened blind recruitment since 2018. Recently, it has continuously worked to establish open recruitment by applying a 'Sympathetic Recruitment System.'
In particular, Kibo disclosed detailed information in recruitment announcements, including ▲job description materials for each recruitment position ▲schedule and selection ratios for each screening stage ▲criteria for handling ties ▲scoring criteria for qualifications ▲preferential treatment, and operated a permanent inspection team to prevent recruitment corruption at its root. Additionally, regarding socially equitable recruitment for vulnerable job groups, Kibo has taken the lead in fair recruitment by implementing ▲additional points ▲recruitment target systems ▲separate recruitment.
