To develop the park, the city signed a land use agreement with the National Railroad Park and secured a maintenance budget of 250 million KRW through Gyeonggi-do's 'Small Park Environment Creation Project' contest. The Small Park Environment Creation Project aims to expand green infrastructure and improve urban landscapes by utilizing renewable energy to enhance park environments within the city.
The city plans to install a pergola with mobile phone charging functions, heated benches, and lighting using solar energy in the newly created small park. After completing the design, the city intends to finish the project by May next year.
