Gyeonggi Fire Department Signs Agreement with Gyeonggi Women's Family Foundation to Promote Gender Equality Culture

View original imageThe Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters signed a business agreement with the Gyeonggi-do Women and Family Foundation to promote a culture of gender equality among fire service personnel.
On the 2nd, the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters held a signing ceremony at the 6th-floor video conference room of the headquarters building in Gwonseon-gu, Suwon, attended by Cho Seon-ho, head of the Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters, and Kim Hye-sun, CEO of the Gyeonggi-do Women and Family Foundation.
According to the agreement, the Gyeonggi-do Women and Family Foundation will support various educational programs to strengthen the gender awareness perspective of fire service personnel and develop customized programs reflecting the necessary competencies of firefighters. The Gyeonggi-do Fire and Disaster Headquarters will collaborate with the Gyeonggi-do Women and Family Foundation to develop policies necessary for creating a gender-equal environment.
Kim Hye-sun, CEO of the Gyeonggi-do Women and Family Foundation, stated, "Through organic cooperation between the two organizations, we will strengthen the gender awareness capabilities of firefighters working on the front lines of disaster sites and contribute to eliminating inequality in disaster situations."
