Every year, 20,000 design graduates enter the workforce. This accounts for 6% of the current design professionals in the market. Senior designers have stepped up to help break through employment barriers in the design industry. At 'Design Korea 2023,' attendees can learn employment know-how from designers actively working both domestically and internationally.

The Korea Institute of Design Promotion is hosting Design Korea 2023, the largest design expo in the country, at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, starting from the 1st. Within the event venue, a job fair hall is running programs aimed at enhancing the employment capabilities of domestic design talent. Aspiring designers from all fields including product and visual design, space and interior design, and UX/UI are eligible to participate.

Last month, group mentoring sessions were conducted online for 300 pre-registered participants, and currently, one-on-one mentoring is being provided at the venue to about 130 selected participants whose portfolios were reviewed from the group mentoring attendees. Thirteen domestic mentors and fifteen overseas mentors each coach five mentees for one hour.
