The government has decided to expand the scale of export voucher support to accelerate the recovery of exports.
Kim Byunghwan, Vice Minister of Strategy and Finance, visited The Standard company in Gunpo-si, Gyeonggi-do, on the afternoon of November 1st, where he received an explanation about medical devices from an official.
View original imageOn the afternoon of the 1st, Kim Byunghwan, First Vice Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, visited The Standard, a medical device manufacturer (electrocardiogram detection, endoscope parts, etc.) located in Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province, toured the production and research facilities, and made these remarks.
Vice Minister Kim said, “Despite difficult export conditions, I was impressed by the achievements of companies that have pioneered export routes to over 50 countries through technology development and bold investment,” adding, “To accelerate the export recovery trend, we will expand the scale and support items of export voucher support for export companies.”
He continued, “While continuously improving trade finance, marketing, logistics, and export infrastructure, to strengthen certification support for medical device export companies, starting next year, we plan to add the medical device sector, including FDA (medical device class 1) and CE (medical device class 1), to the fast-track support project for acquiring overseas standard certifications.”
