Mokpo Coast Guard Searching for Person Who Jumped into the Sea near Mokpo Bridge
Mokpo Coast Guard Station (Chief Kim Hae-cheol) is searching for Mr. A (male), who jumped into the sea on the 31st.
According to the Coast Guard on the 1st, a report was received at 5:54 PM on the 31st of last month that a man had jumped from Mokpo Bridge in Mokpo City, Jeollanam-do. Patrol vessels, coastal rescue boats, land patrol teams, and the West Sea Marine Special Rescue Unit were dispatched to the scene.
The Coast Guard arrived at the scene around 6:00 PM, just 6 minutes after receiving the report, confirmed the sea jump through nearby CCTV footage, and conducted intensive sea and land searches.
