LG Uplus 'Nugget' Plan Offers Up to 11GB Benefits for Young Subscribers
Android OS, Available Starting Tomorrow
"Will Reduce Youth's Communication Cost Burden"
LG Uplus announced on the 31st that it will provide up to 11GB of data benefits to young people who subscribe to the recently launched 'Nugget Plan.' The plan will be available for Android OS starting next month on the 1st, and for iOS, it is currently awaiting App Store approval.
The Nugget Plan is a 5G online-only prepaid plan that divides the low data usage range into fine increments from 1GB in 2GB units.
Plan changes and cancellations are flexible, and refunds are provided based on the remaining days or unused data. Customers can minimize unused data and pay only for the data they use.
Starting from the 1st of next month, young customers subscribing to 15 types of 5G Nugget Plans, excluding the unlimited data plan, will receive double the existing data amount for low usage ranges from 1GB to 9GB, and an additional 11GB for usage above 10GB. The 11GB data size is enough to download about five high-definition movies.
Anyone aged 19 to 29 is eligible to subscribe. Young customers who have already subscribed to the Nugget Plan can receive additional data benefits by changing their plan and restarting the 30-day usage cycle from the 1st of next month.
LG Uplus is also running a subscription event where the first 10,000 young customers who subscribe to the Nugget Plan will receive a 3-month pass for 'KakaoTalk Emoticon Plus.'
