Doosan Yeongang Foundation Supports Cancer Research at Seoul National University Hospital with 800 Million KRW
100 Million KRW Annually Until 2030
The Doosan YeonGang Foundation will provide 800 million KRW in cancer research funding to Seoul National University Hospital.
On the 30th, the Doosan YeonGang Foundation held a cancer research funding agreement ceremony at the Seoul National University Hospital Daehan Clinic, attended by Chairman Park Yong-hyun and Seoul National University Hospital Director Kim Young-tae, among others.
The Doosan YeonGang Foundation will support 100 million KRW annually from this year until 2030, totaling 800 million KRW. The entire funding will be used for research in the oncology field at Seoul National University Hospital.

The Doosan YeonGang Foundation had already provided 1.2 billion KRW in cancer research funding to Seoul National University Hospital from 2006 to 2017, and with this agreement, the total cumulative support reaches 2 billion KRW.
At the signing ceremony, Park Yong-hyun, Chairman of the Doosan YeonGang Foundation, said, "Based on support for clinical basic research for cancer treatment and prevention, we hope to contribute to public health and the advancement of medicine."
