Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Hosts Citizen Safety Experience Event
Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, will hold the 'Gwangsan Citizens Safety Experience Festival' on the 4th of next month at the Ssangam Neighborhood Park Lawn Plaza.
In observance of Safety Inspection Day (November 4th), the event is organized to raise citizens' safety awareness and improve their response capabilities.
The festival features four areas: fire safety, traffic safety, daily life safety, and disaster safety, offering various experience programs simulating different safety accidents that can occur in everyday life.
Activities include a fire evacuation maze experience, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), typhoon response, and a 119 mobile safety experience vehicle, along with 10 experience programs. Additionally, there will be exhibitions of fire suppression equipment, a missing child registration service, self-defense training, and a hygiene safety magic show.

Participants receive a certification stamp upon completing each experience. Those who collect five or more stamps and present them will be given a personal safety whistle.
