Jeong Eui-sun followed by Park Hyun-joo and Choi Soo-yeon... Hankyung Association to hold 'Gat Saeng Han-kki 2' in December
'Lunch with the Korean Buffett' Part 2
Meeting between Leaders in Manufacturing, Finance & IT and Youth
Apply by November 19... Lunch on December 11
The Korea Economic Association announced on the 29th that it will hold the second event of 'Gotsenghanki,' a meeting between major business leaders and young people, on December 11. Chairman Park Hyun-joo of Mirae Asset Group and CEO Choi Soo-yeon of Naver will have lunch and conversations with 20 young participants.
Gotsenghanki is a public communication project by the Korea Economic Association. 'Gotseng' is a popular term among the MZ generation (born from the early 1980s to early 2000s) meaning the practice of a productive and planned righteous lifestyle routine to achieve goals.
The theme of the second Gotsenghanki event is 'Challenges Beyond the Impossible, Gotseng for Dreams.' Chairman Park and CEO Choi expressed their agreement with the event’s purpose, including communication with the younger generation and spreading positive social influence through talent donation, and decided to participate.
The selection criteria for young participants are based not on money (auction) but on plans for talent donation for society. The purpose is to spread small but positive influences in our society. Those wishing to attend can apply on the Korea Economic Association website by the 19th of next month. Applicants must present a talent donation plan that can be implemented within a month. Participants are selected based on the feasibility, impact, and creativity of their talent donation plans.
In May, the Korea Economic Association invited Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun, Socar CEO Park Jae-wook, and CEO of No Hong-chul Genius Co., Ltd., No Hong-chul, along with young people, to hold the first Gotsenghanki event at the FKI Tower (formerly the Federation of Korean Industries building). This was part of the first public communication project, 'Lunch with the Korean Buffett,' under the mid- to long-term development plan 'New Way Initiative' announced in February.
