Israeli Military States "Cannot Guarantee Journalist Safety"... 29 Dead During Coverage
As the Israeli military expands its attacks on the Gaza Strip, it has stated that it "cannot guarantee the safety of journalists."
According to foreign media on the 27th (local time), the Israeli military sent a letter to major media outlets stating, "We cannot guarantee the safety of your staff," and "We strongly urge you to take all necessary measures for their safety."
The Israeli military claimed, "We are targeting Hamas military activities throughout the Gaza Strip," and "Hamas deliberately conducts military operations near the media and civilians." It also warned, "Intense airstrikes targeting Hamas may cause damage to surrounding buildings, and Hamas rockets may accidentally kill people in the Gaza Strip."
