Bullets in the Soil... Rusted Live Rounds Found Near Changwon Jungang Station
One corroded live bullet was found and recovered in a vacant lot near Changwon Jungang Station in Uichang-gu, Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam.
According to Changwon Jungbu Police Station, a resident reported the discovery of a live bullet in a vacant lot near Changwon Jungang Station around noon on the 25th.
Police officers who responded and the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team from the 9th Ammunition Depot of the Army Ammunition Support Command found one corroded live bullet buried in the soil at the scene and collected it.

The military authorities estimated that the bullet was a .50 caliber standard round used in machine guns during the Korean War.
