hy Online Mall Predit Surpasses 40,000 Paid Membership Subscribers
The paid membership of hy's online mall ‘Predit,’ called ‘Predit Membership,’ has surpassed 40,000 subscribers. This milestone was reached six months after exceeding the initial launch goal of 30,000 members in March.
Predit Membership is a premium paid membership system introduced by hy in 2021. It is the successor to the ‘Predit Club,’ which was launched when the existing online platform ‘HiFresh’ was rebranded as ‘Predit.’
The reason for securing many subscribers within three years of its launch lies in the various benefits that exceed the annual membership fee. Membership customers receive free delivery using the existing Fresh Manager network, 40,000 won in Predit points, four 20% discount coupons per month, and three opportunities per year to apply for free products.
The increase in subscribers has translated into Predit’s sales. As of the end of September, sales from membership customers reached 45.5 billion won, surpassing last year’s annual sales of 31.8 billion won. This represents an 86% growth compared to the same period last year. The proportion of sales from membership customers is also expected to rise from 29% last year to 33% this year.
