World Bank Warns "Israel-Palestine War Raises Serious Concerns for Global Economic Growth"
Ajay Banga, President of the World Bank (WB), stated on the 24th (local time) that the war between Israel and the Palestinian armed group Hamas could have a serious impact on global economic growth.
According to major foreign media including AFP on the same day, President Banga said at the annual Future Investment Initiative (FII) forum held in Saudi Arabia, "The recent events in Israel and the Gaza Strip, when combined, I believe have a serious impact on economic growth."
