Members of the Firefly Workshop club prepared materials for over two months using a DIY (Do It Yourself) method, from cutting wood to assembly, so that students could easily participate in the woodworking experience. On the day, the students enjoyed making their own foldable bookstands and phone speakers/holders.
Students who participated in the experience said, "It was fun to enjoy woodworking, which is usually hard to access," and "I feel really proud to see the bookstand I made myself."
