Advisor Kim Kyung-im of the Cultural Heritage Recovery Foundation and Lee Sung-chul, CEO of Hankook Ilbo, Honored as 'Proud Obituary Figures'
Awards Presented at the December 5th Regular General Meeting
Kim Kyung-im, Standing Advisor of the Cultural Heritage Restoration Foundation, and Lee Sung-chul, CEO and Publisher of Hankook Ilbo, were selected as the 25th "Proud Bugoin" by the Seoul National University High School Alumni Association on the 23rd.
Kim Kyung-im, Standing Advisor of the Cultural Heritage Restoration Foundation, was the first female to pass the Foreign Service Examination since its implementation in 1968, achieving this milestone in 1978. She served as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' first female director (Director of Cultural Diplomacy) in 2001 and later became the Ministry's first career female ambassador (Ambassador to Tunisia) in 2003.
