Changwon Special City Inspects 14 Mu-ryangpan Structure Apartments in Jurisdiction, Finds No Issues
Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam announced on the 23rd that after inspecting 14 apartment complexes with flat slab structures related to the LH flat slab structure apartment construction site accident that occurred last April, no safety issues were found.
This inspection was conducted on a total of 14 apartment complexes with flat slab structures (12 completed, 2 under construction) from August 25 to September 18.
Changwon Special City inspected the Mu-ryangpan structure apartments and confirmed that there were no abnormalities.
View original imageAdditionally, before the inspection, design documents were reviewed, and on-site non-destructive tests such as concrete compressive strength tests and rebar detection were performed to check the appropriateness of the building structure.
The safety inspection was jointly conducted by Changwon Special City, safety diagnosis specialists designated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and the National Land Safety Management Institute. The inspection results confirmed no safety or structural issues such as compressive strength deficiencies or missing rebar.
