Partial Restrictions on Olympic-daero and Gangbyeonbuk-ro Until the 10th of Next Month for Cleaning Operations
10:00 AM to 5:00 PM... 1 to 2 Lanes Controlled
Seoul Facilities Corporation announced on the 23rd that it will partially restrict traffic on major expressways in Seoul, including Olympic-daero and Gangbyeonbuk-ro, due to cleaning work on the traffic management systems in those sections. The restriction period will last until the 10th of next month.
The work targets a total of six routes: Olympic-daero, Gangbyeonbuk-ro, Naebu-sunhwan-ro, Bukbu-ganseon-ro, Dongbu-ganseon-ro, and Gangnam-sunhwan-ro. Cleaning will be conducted on a total of 109 traffic management systems, including 27 road electronic display signs and 82 video detection cameras installed on streetlights along these routes.
The corporation expects that this cleaning will improve the accuracy of traffic information such as real-time traffic conditions and traffic congestion forecast services, and that the road electronic display signs will become more visible.
