"No Microwave Needed"... GS25 Introduces New Concept Ready Meal 'Gimchobap'
Wasabi Crab Mayo Rice Balls · Wasabi Crab Mayo Gimbap
GS25 announced on the 22nd that it has launched two new types of convenient meals called 'Gimchobap' that can be eaten without a microwave.
The Gimchobap products released by GS25 this time are two types: 'Wasabi Crab Mayo Jumeokbap' and 'Wasabi Crab Mayo Gimbap.' These products use domestically produced rice mixed well with chodaeri (a sauce made by blending vinegar, sugar, etc.) and are topped with a Wasabi Crab Meat Salad made with crab-flavored surimi and wasabi mayo sauce.

The two types of Gimchobap feature a manufacturing process where the rice is mixed with chodaeri, allowing consumers to enjoy the optimal taste without heating in a microwave or other devices. This product feature is also well expressed on the packaging; unlike typical convenience meals that provide recommended microwave heating times, the packages of the two Gimchobap products include a unique message saying, "Enjoy without heating."
