Teen Girl Who Opened Fire After Being Kicked Out of Club... Arrested After One Month
Fake ID Exposed at Denver Club in the US
Police and FBI Arrest Suspect and Proceed with Prosecution
A teenage girl who opened fire on five people after being kicked out of a club in Denver, Colorado, was arrested by the police.
On the 20th (local time), according to the Denver Police Department, the police, together with the FBI, arrested shooting suspect Kiana Rosenberg, who was hiding in Barstow, San Bernardino County, California, the day before. However, since the suspect is a minor, specific identity details and arrest photos were not released.
Rosenberg was wanted as the suspect who shot five people in front of a club in Denver on the 16th of last month and fled the scene.
According to the Los Angeles (LA) Times, on the day of the incident, Rosenberg attempted to enter the club but was denied entry by security personnel who judged the ID she presented to be fake. After initially being refused entry, Rosenberg left the club but soon returned, drew a handgun, and fired multiple shots. Witnesses testified that the shooting happened so quickly that the security guards could not react, and 7 to 8 gunshots were heard in an instant.

As a result, all five people were shot but fortunately, none of their lives were in danger. The police stated, “Rosenberg intended to shoot at the security guards, but the people who were actually hit were others.”
The police said Rosenberg faces eight charges including first-degree attempted murder and that prosecution procedures are underway. In Colorado, first-degree attempted murder is classified as a class 2 felony. If convicted, she could face 16 to 48 years in prison and a maximum fine of 1 million dollars (approximately 1.353 billion won).
Local media reported, “The club’s security staff were trained to identify fake IDs and potentially dangerous individuals, but existing regulations may be reviewed,” suggesting that regulations on access to entertainment venues could become stricter due to this incident.
