Actor Oh Jung-se's vehicle collided with a tractor, resulting in a fatality.
According to the police, at around 6:58 PM on the 18th, the van carrying Oh Jung-se was traveling on a two-lane road in Buri-myeon, Geumsan-gun, Chungnam, when it struck a tractor. As a result of the accident, the husband of a couple in their 60s who were driving the tractor died, and the wife was seriously injured and transported to a hospital.
The van involved in the accident was occupied by the driver, Mr. A, in his 40s, and Oh Jung-se. Both sustained minor injuries and received treatment at a nearby hospital.
Mr. A reportedly stated during the police investigation that "the tractor suddenly appeared." The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
The police confirmed that Mr. A was not driving under the influence. However, whether he was speeding at the time of the accident has not yet been determined. The police plan to verify speeding and other factors through vehicle black box data and speed analysis.

Oh Jung-se's agency, Prain TPC, stated, "The manager underwent an investigation at the police station, including checking the black box after the accident, and Oh Jung-se was also examined as a passenger before returning home." They added, "We apologize to the bereaved families and are sorry for causing concern with this unfortunate news."
