Hapcheon-gun Establishes Implementation Plan for Next Year's Cadastral Resurvey Project
Implementation Plan for Selection of 9 Districts in Hapcheon 15 Districts
Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province, has selected nine districts, including Hapcheon15 District, to promote the 2024 cadastral readjustment project and has established an implementation plan.
The cadastral readjustment project is a national policy initiative aimed at resolving land disputes and enhancing land utilization by newly setting the boundaries of cadastral discrepancies based on actual land conditions, which do not match the cadastral records created and registered during the land and forest survey conducted in the Japanese colonial period. This project efficiently manages the national territory and protects citizens' property rights.
The county has established an implementation plan for 1,483 parcels in nine cadastral readjustment districts in 2024 (Hapcheon15 District, Maean District, Guwonyacheon District, Chogye3 District, Hwangjeong District, Busu District, Deokchon1 District, Hageum2 District, and Wolpyeong District). After holding residents' briefings to collect opinions through public viewing, announcements, and project guidance procedures, the districts will be designated with the consent of more than two-thirds of the landowners, followed by cadastral surveying and other subsequent work.
Additionally, the 2024 cadastral readjustment project implementation plan can be viewed on the town and township bulletin boards as well as the county website. If there are any opinions regarding the implementation plan, residents can submit a written statement to the Cadastral Readjustment Division of the county civil affairs department within the announcement period.

A county official stated, “Resident briefings for the 2024 cadastral readjustment districts will be held from October 30 at Hageum1gu Village to November 10 at Bonggi Village,” and added, “We ask for the active participation and cooperation of landowners to ensure the smooth progress of the 2024 cadastral readjustment project in nine districts, including Hapcheon15 District.”
