Hwasun-gun Operates K-Meal Management Promotion Center
‘K-Keupsik Management for a Healthier Hwasun!’ A Platform for Providing Meal Hygiene and Nutrition Information
Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do, and the Hwasun-gun Children and Social Welfare Meal Management Support Center (hereinafter referred to as the Meal Center) announced on the 19th that they operated a promotional booth for the Meal Center at the public sports ground in celebration of the 42nd Hwasun-gun Residents' Day.
At the Meal Center booth, education was provided on ▲ the duties and roles of the Meal Center ▲ display of support items for registered meal sites ▲ proper handwashing experience ▲ understanding the amount of salt in food ▲ learning about types and benefits of color foods.
In addition, ▲ hands-on quiz activities ▲ a Nutrition Day campaign were conducted to attract significant interest and enthusiasm from the residents.
Center Director Na An-hee stated, “Through the local festival, we were able to provide children with information on meal hygiene, proper eating habits, and nutrition,” adding, “We will continue to actively participate in local events to offer various promotions and experiential opportunities, and strive to improve residents' health and quality of life in line with the slogan ‘k-Meal Management, Healthier Hwasun!’”
