NongHyup Jindo County Branch Conducts 'Plogging with NongHyup'

Walking Along the Stream in Jindo-eup and Participating in Trash Pickup Activities

The Nonghyup Jindo County Branch (Branch Manager Ju Myeong-gyu) held the 2023 second half Jindo County Nonghyup Development Win-Win Council and conducted plogging around the riverside area of Jindo-eup on the 18th.

According to the county branch on the 19th, the plogging, carried out as part of the comprehensive Nonghyup ESG activity practice, was participated in by employees of Daecheong Environment (CEO Jeon Yun-hwan), a credit transaction company of the Nonghyup Jindo County Branch. The Win-Win Development Council members, mainly composed of heads and employees of local Nonghyup branches in Jindo County, agreed to participate in plogging at least once per office unit.

The Jindo County Nonghyup Development Win-Win Council adopted a resolution on May 31 in the first half of the year to practice ESG in daily life, such as using tumblers, and conducted activities to collect beach litter around the Jukrim Fishing Village Experience Area.

The Jindo County Nonghyup Development Win-Win Council consists of 12 members, including heads and employees of the Nonghyup Jindo County Branch and local Nonghyup branches. Through two regular meetings held in the first and second halves of the year, they discover practical measures to create a Nonghyup that serves farmers and local residents by sharing information, communicating, and cooperating among Nonghyup employees in Jindo County.

Branch Manager Ju Myeong-gyu said, “I thank the employees of Daecheong Environment who participated in plogging with Nonghyup and the members of the Nonghyup Development Win-Win Council who are leading efforts to pledge and practice comprehensive Nonghyup ESG activities in daily life. The Nonghyup Development Win-Win Council will strive harder to discover and implement various activities so that Nonghyup can be an organization that works together with farmers, Jindo residents, and the local community.”
