AI, Communication, and Healthcare Developers Unite... Samsung to Host Conference in November
November 14-15 'Samsung Developer Conference Korea'

Samsung Electronics announced on the 19th that it will hold the 'Samsung Developer Conference Korea 2023' at the Samsung Electronics Seocho Building in Seocho-gu, Seoul, on the 14th and 15th of next month.
To emphasize the importance of software (SW), the company has been hosting developer events annually since 2014. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the event. Any software developer can attend. For developers who cannot attend in person, a real-time online broadcast will also be provided.
Jeon Kyung-hoon, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Samsung Electronics DX (Mobile & Consumer Electronics) Division and President of Samsung Research, will deliver the welcome address. The conference will cover various software research fields embedded in products such as artificial intelligence (AI), platforms, communications, security, data, and healthcare.
A session discussing the improvement of software development productivity using generative AI, which has recently attracted attention, will also be held. Keynote presentations are scheduled on Samsung Electronics' advanced AI research technologies, SmartThings interconnection technologies, and Tizen-based TV user experience expansion technologies.
Experiences and development stories from 35 developers across diverse fields including AI, SmartThings, healthcare, Galaxy products and services, automotive electronics, communications, data, and open source will also be shared.
At the exhibition hall inside the Seocho Building, SmartThings Multi-Hub and Things supporting Matter, an open smart home interconnection standard, will be unveiled.
Jung Jin-min, Vice President and Head of the Software Innovation Center at Samsung Research, said, "We will make this an opportunity to grow together not only with Samsung Electronics employees but also with all developers who enjoy software."
