Smilegate Achieves No.1 Global PS Sales with Crossfire VR Game
Smilegate Entertainment announced on the 18th that its self-developed virtual reality (VR) game 'Crossfire: Sierra Squad (Sierra Squad)' has ranked number one in global sales on the PlayStation Store.
In the 'Most Downloaded Games in September' PSVR2 category revealed on the PlayStation Blog, Sierra Squad took first place in the North American and European regions. It ranked fourth upon its release on August 29 and climbed three spots within about a month.
Sierra Squad also won the Best Sony PlayStation Game VR/AR Award at the NIX Game Awards. The NIX Game Awards is an awards ceremony established by the International Awards Association (IAA) targeting the global gaming industry.
