Sungkyunkwan University and Seoul City Sign Public-Academic Cooperation Agreement... Joining Hands to Enhance Public Officials' Expertise
Sungkyunkwan University Graduate School of National Strategy signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement with the Seoul Metropolitan Government on the 17th to collaborate on civil servant education.

The two institutions plan to cooperate in linking and sharing educational programs. Through this agreement, selected trainees among Seoul city civil servants will receive a certain scholarship benefit starting from the first semester of the 2024 academic year.
Kim Hyung-tae, Director of Human Resources Development at Seoul City, said, "While seeking educational cooperation with universities for the training of affiliated employees, the Graduate School of National Strategy at Sungkyunkwan University proposed this, leading to the signing of the agreement."

Jo Won-bin, Dean of the Graduate School of National Strategy at Sungkyunkwan University, said, "The Graduate School of National Strategy cultivates experts equipped with strategic thinking skills and practical problem-solving abilities through education in strategy theory, crisis management, and information fields based on administration, policy, and economics," adding, "It will help improve the professionalism of civil servants."
