The World's First 'Voice Phishing Voice Analysis Model' Applied Nationwide by Police
The government will deploy and begin operating the 'Voice Phishing Voice Analysis Model,' which was developed as the world's first in February, at police investigation sites nationwide.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced on the 18th that it has equipped the 'Telephone Fraud Investigation Support System' (hereinafter referred to as the Investigation Support System), used by police nationwide, with the 'Voice Phishing Voice Analysis Model' developed by the Ministry this year as the world's first, to support rapid investigations and criminal apprehension related to voice crimes at frontline investigation sites.
The voice analysis model used by the police is a field version capable of instantly determining similarity by comparing voice data one-to-one, and it is a model with about 77% improved performance compared to the existing voice analysis models introduced and used overseas by the National Forensic Service.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety will also expand and operate the 'Voice Phishing Voice Analysis Model Practical Training Course' jointly with the Integrated Data Analysis Center and the National Forensic Service to enable easy use of the model at investigation sites.
