Twenty-six representative works by artist Unayeong, who has consistently presented Hanbok fairy tale projects, are produced as scrolls and folding screens using traditional Korean painting framing methods and will be displayed at the Polish Cultural Center. In addition to famous fairy tales, the artist's new works themed on Polish traditional folktales such as "The Dragon of Babel" and "The Mermaid of Warsaw" will be unveiled for the first time through this exhibition.
Earlier, on the 14th, the artist met directly with Polish fans at the "Meet the Artist" event held at the Cultural Center and shared various stories. At this event, Unayeong introduced her works in person and communicated with Polish fans, who expressed their appreciation for the works in Korean or brought copies from Korea to get the artist's autograph in her art book.
Unayeong said, "I am grateful to the Polish visitors who passionately listened to and shared their impressions of my works," adding, "I am happy that they liked my new works themed on Polish folktales."
