A 1643㎡ Water Playground to Be Created at Osancheon
Osan-si Secures 1 Billion KRW in Project Funding
Targeting Completion by First Half of Next Year
A 1,643㎡ water play area will be created along the Osancheon Stream in Osandong, Osan-si, Gyeonggi-do.
On the 17th, Osan City announced that it recently secured 1 billion KRW in project funds from Gyeonggi-do for the installation of a water play area as part of the Osancheon Waterside Stream Development Project. Accordingly, the city plans to install a 1,643㎡ citizen-friendly water play area on idle land behind the Osan Sports Center in Osandong.

View original imageThe water play area will feature a combination play structure, tunnel fountain, picnic deck, parasols, and trees will be planted nearby for relaxation. The city plans to begin construction next year and complete it in the first half of the same year.
The city explained that it had continuously requested budget allocation from the People Power Party delegation of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council and Gyeonggi-do to secure this project funding.
Building on this funding, the city will also continue to propose support and cooperation for the creation of a water play area currently underway at Araedeul Park in Sucheong-dong.
