KT Extends Official Partnership with National Soccer Team Until 2027
On the 13th, KT announced on the 15th that it held a ‘Football National Team Official Partner Signing Ceremony’ with the Korea Football Association at the Seoul World Cup Stadium and extended the sponsorship agreement until 2027.
The signing ceremony took place during halftime of the Korea vs. Tunisia national team friendly match, attended by both parties’ officials including Lee Hyun-seok, Head of KT Customer Division, and Chung Mong-gyu, President of the Korea Football Association.

KT has continuously sponsored the national football team for 23 years since 2001, and with this agreement, the sponsorship will continue until 2027. This period includes global football events such as the World Cup, the Olympics, and the Asian Cup. KT will hold exclusive rights to advertise on the national team’s apparel (training suits) and operate the player escort service. In addition, KT can utilize various rights granted to official partners, including in-stadium board advertising rights, the team’s portrait rights, and emblem usage rights.
During the sponsorship period, KT will contribute to leading the national football enthusiasm, such as World Cup cheering events at Gwanghwamun Square, and has introduced various football marketing activities to customers, including operating the player escort service, launching the national football team edition phone (device), and hosting Kids Land camping at the Paju NFC.
Lee Hyun-seok, Head of KT Customer Division, said, “KT has been with the Korean national football team for over 20 years, and it is an honor to continue this partnership. We will always stand with the Korean national football team as they create new football legends with the people.”
