Korea Zinc to Conduct Large-Scale Open Recruitment for New Employees in the Second Half of the Year
Korea Zinc is launching a large-scale open recruitment for new employees in the second half of the year.
Korea Zinc has been continuously expanding its workforce to grow as an eco-friendly energy and materials company, and will conduct recruitment in various fields this second half of the year to secure related talent.
Through this recruitment, Korea Zinc will hire new employees in the ▲Management Support▲Technical Support fields at its headquarters located in Seoul, and new employees in the ▲Production Support▲Production Management▲R&D▲Facility Support fields at its smelting plant located in Ulsan. The selection process will proceed in the order of ▲Document Screening▲Bio Data Test▲Online Aptitude and Personality Test▲Interview.
Since its founding in 1974, Korea Zinc has continued its non-ferrous metals business. Based on differentiated technology, it has grown into the world's largest producer of major non-ferrous metals such as zinc and silver. Early last year, Korea Zinc announced the Troika Drive initiative, an eco-friendly new business to lead the company's future growth, and newly entered renewable energy and hydrogen businesses, secondary battery materials business, and resource circulation business.
Korea Zinc implements various systems to recruit and develop talented individuals with excellent capabilities. To establish a competency- and performance-based compensation system, Korea Zinc abolished the comprehensive wage system and introduced the OKR evaluation system, the first in the manufacturing industry. A Korea Zinc HR recruitment official stated, "Since starting in September, we have actively participated in job fairs at 14 universities to select talents who will be responsible for Korea Zinc's future," adding, "Korea Zinc has led the world in the non-ferrous metals market for the past half-century, and we look forward to many applications from talents who will join us in drawing the challenging future roadmap called Troika Drive, an expansion of the non-ferrous metals industry."
