LG Electronics Establishes 'LG OLED Award' at Busan International Film Festival
LG Electronics announced on the 13th that it has partnered with the 28th Busan International Film Festival to establish two new awards for rookie and independent film directors: the 'LG OLED New Currents' and the 'LG OLED Vision' awards.

The 'LG OLED New Currents Award,' given to Asian films including those from Korea, was awarded to "Solid by the Sea," directed by Partyphan Buntarik (Thailand). The 'LG OLED Vision Award,' given to Korean films, was awarded to "Han Chae," co-directed by Jung Beom and Heo Jang. Each winner received a prize of 30 million KRW and a 77-inch LG OLED evo as a trophy.
