Gyeonggi Office of Education Hosts 'Class Festival' with Senior Teachers
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will hold a 'Teaching Festival' with lead teachers from kindergarten, elementary, and special schools.
On the 13th, the Office of Education announced that on the 14th, at Bucheon Solan Elementary School, lead teachers with excellent teaching capabilities will publicly demonstrate twelve types of lessons under the theme "Talking about Teaching." Approximately 300 teachers who pre-registered will choose and participate in the lessons in the role of students in this teaching festival.
The topics of the open classes include ▲ reading discussions using picture books ▲ lessons through dance play ▲ counseling and character education through the Virtues Project (classroom management using virtues) ▲ teaching the astronomy unit in an engaging way using educational information technology (Edutech), among others.
A Q&A session with the lead teachers will be held following the lessons.

Kim Yoon-gi, Director of Curriculum Policy at the Office of Education, said, "We are pleased to hold the Teaching Festival with lead teachers again since 2019," adding, "We hope it will greatly contribute to fostering a culture of teaching that grows through collaboration and to strengthening inquiry-centered lessons."
