Kyungbok University Develops ChatGPT and Generative AI 'Guidelines'
Kyungbok University recently established the 'ChatGPT Generative AI Guidelines,' focusing on the ethical use of generative AI in the education sector and promoting innovation in learning and teaching.
The newly developed generative AI guidelines target both professors and students, emphasizing understanding the basic principles of AI and recognizing its strengths and weaknesses.
Accordingly, the guidelines include detailed content such as examples that professors can use and citation methods for students. They also cover how to use prompts to improve the quality of AI outputs and how to verify the sources of AI-generated content.
Jeon Ji-yong, President of Kyungbok University, stated, "These guidelines were created to recognize generative AI as a positive and creative educational tool to be utilized in learning, teaching, and assessment. Kyungbok University will emphasize the ethical use of generative AI and support its innovative application in the fields of learning and education."
